Hello Friends!
It has certainly been a while. Since I last posted, I have been accepted into the group going to Swaziland in May 2011, and have finished my first semester of my junior year. What a busy one it was, too! I spent weeks teaching the students I came to love and am now home for another week before I do it all again.
A lot has been on my mind over this break, and it seems insane to me that I've already been home for three weeks. The time has flown! Kim flew back to Denver yesterday and I'm using my remaining 10 days to make a little more money and work a little on school projects. I'm applying to student teach this semester so I'm trying to get as much of that application done as I can while I don't have other work to do.
When I head back to school I will pick up all of my old responsibilities, Sudan Fellowship, Orange Movement, Swaziland trip, and of course, school work. Hopefully I'll find a minute to relax before I have to start all over again!
Blessings,
Kelly
138 days until I leave on my African journey!
